„We are looking for students interested in doing their bachelor thesis about moral judgment in war:
Moral psychology has been one of the areas of interest in the Department of Cognition and Decision Sciences. In one of our current projects, we investigate moral judgment in the exceptional scenario of war from an interdisciplinary perspective integrating the debates in moral philosophy and the empirical approach of cognitive science. By experimenting with hypothetical dilemmas, we want to understand people’s moral intuitions regarding the moral permissibility of killing in war, the use of AI in war, or the link between the cause of war and the legitimacy of military actions, among others.
