The registration deadline for WoCaNet 2025 has been extended to Monday, 26th May, 2025. This event is intended for students at all levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) and professionals (early and even advanced careers).

There are some spaces still available for the following workshops, designed to empower you with soft skills needed to flourish in your own career journey:
- Unconscious Bias: understand and recognize unconscious thinking patterns and find out how they can be addressed to create a more inclusive environment.
- Find Your Pace: From Understanding Needs to Healthy Time Management: get some practical strategies to help you stay focused, manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and develop habits that will support your successful career in academia (or beyond!).
Due to funding support, workshops on the 4th June are only open for women and non-binary individuals. The events on June 5th are open to all genders, and everybody is welcome to join.

- Dr. Marieke Shölvnick, Co-Group Leader at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neuroscience
- Dr. Mhairi Stewart, Head of Public Engagement and Impact at the Museum for Naturkunde Berlin
- Dr. Laila Al-Halabi-Frenzel, Managing Director of Abcalis GmbH
- Dr. Marieka Nestor, Professor at Uppsala University and CEO at Akiram Therapeutics
- Prof. Dr. Christine Rose, Head of the Institute of Neurobiology in Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf
We will also have a career fair over lunch time and a panel discussion at 16:15.

Topics that will be discussed: discrimination, power abuse, family support & care, LGBTQIA* and Queer representation, existing measures and what needs to be changed
